NanoInnovation 2024 brings together scientists, researchers, and industry professionals to discuss the most recent developments in the field of nanotechnology and its applications. The event typically features plenary and keynote speeches, scientific symposia for presentations, and poster sessions. Presentations cover a wide range of fields and topics. In particular, multi-track sessions with parallel thematic symposia are scheduled on September 11 - 12 - 13. Each of the twelve multi-track sessions will include parallel thematic symposia, each of them of 90 minutes. Some thematic symposia are part of workshops and special events while others are organized independently.
In addition, there are roundtable discussions, workshops, and networking events to facilitate collaborations and knowledge exchange among participants. Past editions of NanoInnovation have attracted hundreds of attendees from around the world, including leading scientists, policymakers, and business leaders. NanoInnovation provides a platform for researchers, scientists, and industry professionals to share the latest advances and foster collaborations.
Discover all the fields and topics that will be explored during the current edition and the related thematic symposia, workshops and special events, as soon as their schedules will be available.
On 9 September at 6pm, COST will host a Guest Event (GE.VIII) entitled 'COST Actions – Inclusive Networking for Excellence and Innovation'. COST Action representatives will share their experience of being part of a COST Action. In particular, they will explore how COST Actions help advance knowledge and strengthen the research in their respective scientific fields, and many advantages which membership of their Action has afforded them.
The session will close with a networking cocktail offerd for attendees.
COST Actions at this session:
- European Materials Acceleration Center for Energy (EU-MACE)
- Data-driven Applications towards the Engineering of functional Materials: an Open Network (DAEMON)
- Supramolecular LUminescent Chemosensors for Environmental Security (LUCES)
- Advanced Engineering and Research of aeroGels for Environment and Life Sciences (AEROGELS)
- Innovative and sustainable TecHnologies for reducing critical raw mAterials dependence for Cleaner transportation Applications (ITHACA)
- European metal-organic framework network: combining research and development to promote technological solutions (EU4MOFs)
- Plastics monitoRIng detectiOn RemedIaTion recoverY (PRIORITY)
On 11 September at 10:50am, COST Science Officer Dr Radenka Krsmanovic Whiffen will present the Parallel Lecture (PL.I.C) entitled 'COST – Driving Research Networks for Inclusive Excellence and Innovation'. Attendees will be able to learn about COST and its networking opportunities, its role in promoting and spreading research excellence, the aims and impact of the COST Programme, and how they can connect with COST Actions, either by joining existing Action networks or by submitting their own proposal through the COST Open Call.
From 9 to 13 September COST will welcome attendees at Booth 14 at the exhibition area. Representatives from the COST Association and from the above-mentioned COST Actions will be present at the booth.
