The main objective of COST 718 is to improve the meteorological applications to agriculture. To do this, it deals with three main topics: the availability of meteorological data from standard network, remote sensing and Numerical Weather Models, the application of models in the field of crop diseases, irrigation and climate change, and the diffusion to the farmers of the information through new technologies.
