Colorectal cancer (CRC) is one of the most frequent neoplasms worldwide and an important cause of morbidity in the developed world. It is necessary to identify individuals with a medium-high CRC risk in order to develop adequate preventive measures. The identification of inherited genetic factors involved in CRC susceptibility can help to profile individual disease risk and may enable early screening and treatment monitoring.

Cooperation Studies on Inherited Susceptibility to Colorectal Cancer, COST Action BM1206 (2013-2017) was chaired by Dr Sergei Castellvi-Bel.

Use of Modeling and Simulation in Pulp and Paper Industry

2008 | Action E36

This book is a result of the COST Action E36, which has had the goal to show benefits with process simulation in pulp and paper industry. Its purpose is to combine both practical applications as technical and economic benefits.
