PACT Training School - Energy Transition in Ports and Cities & Territories

The school will explore the intersection of port ecosystems, spatial urban development, and the energy transition. Particular focus will be given to how ports, cities, and related territories interact, evolve, and adapt in response to sustainable energy transition practices.

Organised by members of the Department of Maritime Studies at the University of Piraeus, the event will combine lectures, real-world case studies, workshops, and presentations of ongoing research.

The core objective is to identify key challenges, explore sustainable solutions, and support the development of integrated, inclusive strategies for the energy transition in ports, cities, and related territories.

 

Venue: Chios, Greece

Dates of training school : 20–22 September 2026
