COST online Info Day - Belgium

  • CET
    May 4, 2021 10:00 - May 4, 2021 12:00

Join this online session to learn about COST's role in promoting and spreading research excellence, the role and impact of the COST programme and how to submit or connect with COST Actions.

The focus of this webinar is to provide information about networking opportunities for researchers and innovators in Belgium, and to boost future collaborations through the COST network. It is aimed at those who would consider submitting a proposal as 'main proposer'.

The session will be welcomed by Pascale Van Dinter, Belgian member of the COST Committee of Senior Officials and COST National Coordinator, from BELSPO.

Attendees of the event will be able to learn about COST and how to prepare a COST proposal by Dr Dominique Vandekerchove, Science Officer from the COST Association.

Tips and tricks for the preparation of a COST Action will be given by Prof. Reuchamps from UCLouvain, chair of the COST Action Constitution-making and deliberative democracy, as well as by Dr Jan Reubens from the Flanders Marine Institute, chair of the COST Action The European aquatic animal tracking network.

Some advice will also be given by a Belgian evaluator in the review panel, Prof. Gerrit Beemster from UAntwerp.

Agenda and details of the programme can be found here.

Registration is free and open until 27 April 2021 via this link.
