COST Action 621 “Groundwater management of coastal karstic aquifers” developed in the period 1997-2002. Scientists from 13 countries (Austria, Croatia, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Israel, Italy, Malta, Portugal, Slovenia, Spain and Türkiye) participated in the management committee and working group meetings and contributed to research activities. The key objective of the action was to systematise current knowledge on functioning of coastal karstic aquifers and improve it by fusing the experiences of the participants.
