COST Action Videos

Publication date: 2025

The COST Action CA20107, “Connecting Theory and Practical Issues of Migration and Religious Diversity” (COREnet), launches the COREnet Database, which compiles activities at the intersection of migration and religious diversity. This comprehensive digital database brings together knowledge, practice, and partnerships from across Europe, documenting national and local initiatives and academic activities in EU countries.

Features of the COREnet Database

In an increasingly complex world where migration and religious diversity continue to shape societies, the EU-funded project COREnet responds with a dynamic tool designed to present knowledge and valuable resources to researchers, practitioners, and policymakers. The newly launched database provides information on stakeholders and organisations working with migration, religious diversity, or both, at national and local levels across EU countries. Additionally, this database features a list of practice-based research projects that examine the intersection of migration and religion in the EU context. Finally, the third section of the database collects information on recent and relevant publications rooted in local practices that reflect the interaction between migration and religious diversity.

About COREnet

COREnet is a COST Action (CA20107) supported by the European Cooperation in Science and Technology (COST). The Action aims to connect theoretical and practical approaches to the study of migration and religious diversity, fostering interdisciplinary exchange and strengthening Europe’s capacity to respond to societal change.
