Rural Youth and the New Youth Guarantee

1st international conference of the COST Action Rural NEET Youth Network. This Action encompasses the creation of a European-led multidisciplinary network from countries showing higher NEET youth rates in rural areas.

The conference will take place on 14 September 2022 from 9h00 to 17h15 in Brescia, Italy.

Call for abstracts
Papers to be considered for presentation at the conference must be submitted through the Action's website by 30 June. Acceptance note: 15 July. All accepted abstracts will be published in a proceedings book with ISBN.

Registration to attend is free of charge and required by 7 September.

This one-day conference brings together scholars from a wide range of disciplinary perspectives to discuss the latest research on youth, and youth employment especially in rural areas. Submissions on any aspect of the interconnections between employment, youth and sustainable development are welcome. The conference is orientated around three main themes that reflect contemporary conceptual and policy concerns.
