The COST Action PCPSce explores the transformative impact of Print Culture and Public Spheres in Central Europe (1500–1800). This interdisciplinary network aims to foster international collaboration, innovative research, and open access to historical narratives that continue to shape modern society.
Short-Term Scientific Missions (STSMs) and a new STSM especially for Digital Humanities projects are available.
2026 | STCM 4 (running June – October 2026)
Visit of a host organisation located in a different country than the country of affiliation by a Researcher or Innovator for the specific work to be carried out and for a determined period of time.
Applications are welcome until 15 August 2026.
2026 | DH-STCM 1 (running July – October 2026)
The Digital Humanities STSMs are specifically intended for researchers wishing to work on datasets that enable computational analysis related to the themes of the Action. Possible use cases include:
- compiling bibliographical datasets related to Central Europe;
- creating text corpora to analyse the dissemination of ideas;
- developing corpora for computer vision experiments, such as image reuse detection, feature extraction, and related analyses.
