MAF World Training School in Communication – Connecting the dots within the Marine Animal Forest

The COST Action Marine Animal Forest of the World (MAF World) aims to develop an integrative vision that will fuel research and steer future policies on crosscutting sustainability-driven issues related to the fragmented governance of these benthic ecosystems in coastal and open ocean waters, creating cross-sectoral platform for partners across academia, policymaking, and civil society, offering inclusive spaces for a transdisciplinary dialogue. In addition, the Action aims to unify the protocols for restoration of the MAFs of the World, with nature-based solutions, to face climate change, natural disasters, and food supply.

Communication skills are becoming a crucial piece of science. With this training school, this COST Action wants to offer a navigation trip through different communication components that can improve messages about Marine Animal Forests.

This training experience is about connecting the dots and seeing how each element can complement others to make a fascinating history through exhibitions,  citizen science with a real field experience, writing, videos, and social networks within the framework of the COST Action Marine Animal Forest.
