Training sessions on managing cancer symptoms and on grant writing

The event is a one-day training school aimed at PhD Students and early career researchers. The day is split in to two sessions, each with an overarching theme:

    • Session one (09:00-13:00 CEST): Methodologies, challenges and enablers to research which focuses on “new frontiers, digital solutions and approaches to manging symptoms on the cancer journey” - Ewa Pawlowska, Poland, as chair 
    • Session two (14:00-17:00 CEST): Grant writing with a particular interest in potential enablers and challenges to grant writing; the craft of grant writing; benefits and issues with the role of AI in grant writing; seeking funding as an early career researcher - Ismail Toygar, Turkiye, and Josephine Hegarty, Ireland, as co-chairs

The training school will take place at the Medical University of Gdańsk, Poland. The event is hybrid, with the option to attend in person and online.
