EuNet-INNOCHRON’s training school on basic methods to purify and investigate the discrete functions of human neutrophils

The training school is organised by the COST Action European Network for Innovative Diagnosis and Treatment of Chronic Neutropenias (EuNet-INNOCHRON).

It aims at covering aspects on methods to isolate human neutrophils in high purity and measure and quantify some of their functions including Reactive Oxygen Species, apoptosis and gene expression. The participating scientists will have the opportunity to expand their knowledge via interactive lectures from experts on aspects related to human neutrophils and discuss with them. They will also observe and familiarize themselves with methods to investigate neutrophil functions, discuss, and get hands-on experience on performing specific protocols.

The host of the training school is Prof. Marco A. Cassatella and his team in the Section of General Pathology, Department of Medicine at the University of Verona, Italy.

To offer a high-quality training course including hands-on experience, a very limited number of participants will be accepted.
