The main themes will be:
- The order of the world: myths, imaginations and societies
- Dignity and heroism (The wanderings of the subject)
- Intimacy and social emotions
- Crisis and Disaster / Order and Disorder in the City
COST Association Director, Dr Ronald de Bruin, will attend the event and introduce the COST framework during the morning session of 10 July.
As part of the “Dignity and heroism” session, COST will be represented by Professor Sabrina Corbellini, Chair of COST Action IS1301 (New Communities of Interpretation: Contexts, Strategies and Processes of Religious Transformation in Late Medieval and Early Modern Europe). Sabina will be presenting on the topic of Dignity and spirituality in the medieval city.
This initiative is under the patronage ofCarlos Moedas Commissioner for Science, Research and Innovation at the European Commission.
