Training School on Sustainability Impact Assessment (SIA)

The COST Action Rethinking the Blue Economy: Socio-Ecological Impacts and Opportunities (RethinkBlue) is pleased to announce a Training School on Sustainability Impact Assessment (SIA) to be held in Santorini, Bellonia Cultural Centre, Fira from April 2 to April 5, 2025. This Training School will offer a unique opportunity to explore the methodology of Sustainability Impact Assessment (SIA) and its advanced form, Sustainable Development Impact Assessment with Territorial Approach (SDIATA), within the context of Blue Economy strategies.

Participants will:
Develop competencies in applying impact assessment methods.
Analyse Blue Economy strategies, focusing on maritime transport and maritime tourism.
Explore participatory governance processes and sustainable policy adoption for coastal and island regions
