Federated data analysis training school & Hackathon

The COST Action HELIOS are organising their Federated data analysis training school & hackathon with an even stronger focus on in-depth, hands-on learning, taking place in Cyprus from 11–14 May 2026.

This training school is open to all and is organised in collaboration with HemaFAIR. It will be led by experts at the forefront of FAIR data and federated analysis.

Training topics

Participants will gain practical experience in:

• Introduction to federated analysis and federated learning

• Federated analysis frameworks

• FAIR data principles, data standardization, and best practices

• Hands-on data analysis using common data models

• Federated querying and data depositing

• Ethical and legal aspects, including privacy, data governance, and responsible data use
