COST Action 'Connecting Theory and Practical Issues of Migration and Religious Diversity (COREnet) invites to the launch of their new policy brief 'Building cohesion in migration: embracing religious and secular perspectives in formal and informal education'.
This event will bring together Members of the European Parliament, national policymakers, educators, researchers, and civil society representatives to discuss how worldview literacy in formal and informal educational environments can strengthen social cohesion and democratic life in Europe.
The policy brief addresses:
- The challenges of insufficient inclusion of religious and worldview diversity in school curricula, other training programs and informal educational settings;
- Insufficient training for formal and informal educators in worldview literacy and intercultural sensitivity;
- Concrete policy recommendations and implementation strategies aimed at addressing the identified challenges and promoting sustainable, inclusive educational practices across diverse educational environments.
Interested audience is invited to join this dialogue and contribute to shaping inclusive, future-oriented education and integration policies in Europe.
Registration is required to attend the event in person. Please register at [email protected] (write your name, surname, institution) no later than 7 October 2025.
Online streaming will also be available. The link will be published on the COREnet website on 9 October. No registration is required to view online.
