The focus of the WIRE VIII conference is to enable a deeper understanding of the role and the needs of research and innovation focused on DIGITISATION FOR achieving a GREATER SOCIETAL IMPACT and the digital responsible future for urban and rural development and related societal challenges, e.g. poverty and income inequalities, social inclusion, regional/local growth, data economy, be closer to the people and other.
COST will be represented by Dr Katrin Vohland, the Chair of the COST Action on Citizen Science to promote creativity, scientific literacy, and innovation throughout Europe(CA15212) at the widening session focused on the following topics:
What are the experiences with existing instruments? and How to further spread excellence and widen participation in post-H2020 period?
The objective of the session is to share the experiences from difference widening instruments and to discuss how to further spread excellence and widen participation in post-H2020 period.
The session will take place on Thursday, 29 June 2017 from 14:30 to 16:00.
