Glycoscience studies the biological roles of carbohydrates and how they can be used in treatment and diagnosis of diseases, to prevent infections and prepare new functional smart materials. COST Action Functional Glyconanomaterials for the Development of Diagnostics and Targeted Therapeutic Probes (GLYCONanoPROBES) brings together glycoscientists across Europe promoting collaboration, knowledge transfer and training for early career stage researchers.
