COST is at a turning point. The COST Association represents a significant step in the transition COST is witnessing towards the new research and innovation programme, Horizon 2020. This implies a whole new set of arrangements for COST, with the ambition to best serve the European research communities and respect the bottom-up approach. These new arrangements will also impact the future Open Call organisation.
The 189th meeting of the COST Committee of Senior Officials (CSO) was held in Brussels on 19-20 February 2014. The meeting was chaired by Dr Angeles Rodríguez-Peña, President of the CSO. The Committee focused its work on further advancing the measures needed to facilitate the smooth transition from FP7 to Horizon 2020.
