Call for Papers for the Third International Workshop on Quality of Multimedia Experience (QoMEX)
QoMex will take place in Mechelen, Belgium from 7 to 9 September 2011. The Workshop will bring together leading professionals and scientists who are developing methods for evaluating multimedia quality and user experience.
QoMEX 2011 is the flagship workshop of COST Action IC1003 - QUALINET – European Network on Quality of Experience in Multimedia Systems and Services. The COST Action will leverage on QoMEX which is already established as a reputable international workshop.
The Third International Workshop on Quality of Multimedia Experience features oral presentations, exhibits, panels and poster sessions in order to provide attendees with various channels to exchange and acquire information about the latest developments and future trends in the field of multimedia user experience. Topics of interest include but are not limited to:
- User Experience Assessment and Enhancement
- Visual User Experience (Image/Video/Graphics)
- Auditory User Experience (Speech/Audio)
- QoE for virtual, augmented and mixed realities
- Link between QoS, QoE and Acceptance
- Psychological and sociological dimension of QoE
- Standardisation Activities in Multimedia Quality Evaluation
- Examples of applications
