COST Customer Satisfaction Study 2007
The study conducted by Ipsos Belgium has achieved response rates ranging from 28% to 47% which can be considered as very high for the kind of customers targeted. Such a response, combined with an overall high satisfaction with the role played by COST confirms the high level of ownership by customers.
Overall, respondents are very satisfied with the role played by COST. Users/Participants, Facilitators and Stakeholders gave an average score of more than 8.0 on a 10-point scale. More than 70% of Users/Participants, Facilitators and Stakeholders strongly agree with the statement that COST plays an essential role in supporting cooperation among scientists and researchers across Europe.
There is a also a high level of customer satisfaction with the way in which it is being managed and administered as an instrument. There have been marked improvements in the processes and procedures supporting COST meetings since the 2005 review.
