COST country focus: Malta
Malta has been a member of COST since 1997 and has been involved in 76 COST Actions to date.

Active in all COST Domains, through the COST Actions in which it has been involved, Malta has contributed to improving health and social care standards for migrants and ethnic minorities in Europe, reducing carbon through improved design and management of urban buildings, delivering better ethical and sustainable use of laboratory animals in research as well as assessing the positive contribution that forests can make to human health and well-being in Europe.
This is just an overview of a few COST Actions within which Malta is participating. More information on all the Actions which Malta participates in can be found on the new COST country page.
This country focus fits in a summer series in which we visit each COST country in alphabetical order to highlight its achievements in the COST Programme.
