Tribology COST Action Brings Reduction in Fuel Consumption

The results of COST Action 532 were reported on at the International Tribology Conference ECOTRIEB 2007 held in Ljubljana, Slovenia, from 12 to 15 June 2007. The COST Action contributed jointly with the EUREKA ENIWEP (European Network for Industrial Wear Prevention) Umbrella also dealing with friction control and industrial wear prevention.

COST: Response to the First Open Call 2007

For the second time, the COST Open Call was successful in attracting a large response from a wide spectrum of the European scientific community. There were 406 eligible (pre-) proposals. The number of non eligible proposals was very low (< 20) as in the on-line submission tool an interlock tool minimized potential error and /or omission.
