COST Action 15202 are holding their 1st training school entitled "Self Healing concrete: the path to sustainable construction” in January 2018.

On behalf of the Chair of the SARCOS (CA 15202) COST Action, we are pleased to announce the 1st SARCOS Training School, entitled "Self Healing concrete: the path to sustainable construction”. It will take place in Lisbon (Portugal), from 23rd to 25th of January, 2018. 

It is aimed towards young researchers (PhD students, young post-docs and MSc students) as well as representatives from industry.

The number of participants will be restricted to 20 trainees, and grants for partially covering their accommodation, meals and travelling expenses will be available upon approval of application.

  • Applications will be accepted until 30th of November, 2017
  • The evaluation period will take from 1st to 18th of December, 2017
  • The results of the evaluation will be notified by 20th December, 2017

Applications will have to include the following documents:

1) Application form (please use the provided template and type or use capital letters). 

2) Motivation letter (1 page max) for participating in the training school, addressed to Dr. Mercedes Sánchez Moreno ( ) and indicating the academic/professional status of the applicant.

3) Short Curriculum Vitae (2 pag. max) in the area.

4) Any kind of proof to show your affiliation to your institution (a letter signed by your supervisor, a copy of your contract/scholarship, etc.).
