The EGU General Assembly 2011brought together geoscientists from all over the world into one meeting covering all disciplines of the Earth, Planetary and Space Sciences.
The EGU especially appealed to provide a forum for young scientists to present their work and discuss their ideas with experts in all fields of geosciences.
The COST ESSEM Domain contributed with over thirty interventions – between presentations and poster sessions – by COST Actions. COST also had an exhibition stand.
