The first COST and Ecsite training course on advanced communication skills ended on a successful note. COST Action Chairs joined experts at the Technopolis science centre in Mechelen, Belgium. They exchanged experiences and picked up valuable tips to raise their visibility and promote COST Action results to the science community and beyond.
COST already provides the financial tools to develop stronger networks. It recently set out to help Action Chairs make their research more visible to funding bodies, decision makers and their peers.
By working together, COST and Ecsite provided this group with the effective techniques to give their Actions and themselves the best visibility within the science community and beyond.
Technopolis was chosen as a venue for hosting the event, meaning participants also got a hands-on experience from experts at the science centre.
