The workshop will introduce scenario building methods and tools, expertise and practices gathered already, as well as inclusive also interactive working sessions further elaborating the material collected in the Vienna workshop and the internet survey. The aim of the scenario workshop is to produce three to four scenarios (up to year 2050) for the demand for forest products and services. The outcome of the workshop will be opened for feedback from a wide range of stakeholders in a second round of internet-based sessions in March-April 2011. Project will result definition of future research orientations and the information gathered will be available for further exercises. Results will be disseminated to policy and decision makers in two conferences in the autumn 2011.
