Programme for the Study of European Rural Societies (PROGRESSORE)
Descriptions are provided by the Actions directly via e-COST.
The main objective of the Action is to provide the necessary keys to understand the changes experienced by present-day European rural societies in the light of their historical experience. Therefore the Action will establish guidelines for the management of rural space in the coming years. It intends to produce the basic data needed for the better understanding of current changes in the rural world and to defi ne the choices available to decision-makers. The Action also intends to provide the historical knowledge which will allow us to re-think the future of European peasantries.
