Science Officer Transport and Urban Development
Thierry is a scientist specialised in environmental impacts induced by transport systems. He obtain a PhD in chemistry, speciality “treatment of waste”, from the National Institute of Applied Sciences (INSA). He worked during four years at the French National Research Institute for Transport and Safety (INRETS) as researcher on air pollution due to transport systems. He was a very active member of the COST Action 350 “Integrated assessment of environmental impact of traffic and transport infrastructure” and the COST Action 356 “Towards the definition of a measurable environmentally sustainable transport (EST)” before integrating the COST Office as Science Officer for the Domain Transport and Urban Development (TUD).
